I’ve always been an overachiever.
I earned full-ride scholarships in undergrad, double-majored in philosophy and psychology, graduated with honors while working two jobs and went straight into law school.
I became a prosecutor right after graduating and was trying homicide cases within my first year of practice. From there, I made partner at a legacy law firm. Then I walked away and built my own seven-figure criminal defense firm from the ground up.
I know how to succeed.
I know how to grind.
And I know what it feels like to have the titles, the income, the recognition and still wonder, “Is this really it?”
That question unraveled everything I thought I knew about success.
I didn’t burn it all down.
I gave myself permission to get honest about what I actually wanted and what true success looked like for me, not for anyone else.
Then I rebuilt my life around that version of success.
And what I found was more fulfillment, more freedom, and more happiness than I ever thought possible.
Definitely more than I ever found doing what I was “supposed” to do.
